Install without CD / Floppy
I have here a computer that doesnt have either a CD Rom drive or a floppy drive or a ethernet card. I know, that is lame.

Anyway, the BIOS has an option to boot of "a Cardbus NIC."

I have with me a Cardbus - RJ45 converter. Is it possible to install Linux using that alone? I mean, install Linux on this computer through another computer on the network remotely? I have another machine on the network.

Is it even possible? Or do I need to buy a CD ROM drive to install?

Yes, it is possible to do a network install; I haven't attempted it yet, so don't ask me how. ;)
