Install Wireless Cisco 340 on RedHat8.0


Hi there,

Iam thinking on install a redhat 8.0 on my Toshiba laptop whith a wireless Cisco 340 card.

-Is it compatible??

-Do i need to download a driver?

-What is the best way to do it??

-What are the proceders to install it?

The driver is onboard, its airo_cs if I remember right, its the second most out of the box card next to the Lucent series, and it follows the kernel wireless API so its just a matter of looking through the man page for "iwconfig", and that's only if you want to do it from the command line, the cute RedHat GUI will configure the little monster just fine.
