install internet or xorg and kde on arch linux


Can you help me how to install internet or xorg and kde after arch installation? I have ADSL USB Modem Microcom AD2622, but I dont know install it in terminal. Is there any way, that I can install xorg and kde from cd?
I have Arch 0.7.2. Thank you

After adding your network card to the modprobe.conf or the MODULES array, you should install the rp-pppoe package and run the pppoe-setup script to configure your connection. After you have entered all required data, you can connect and disconnect your line with:

# /etc/rc.d/adsl start
and
# /etc/rc.d/adsl stop

respectively. The setup usually is rather easy and straightforward, but feel free to read the manpages for hints. If you want to automatically dial in on bootup, add adsl to your DAEMONS array.

To install kde/xorg:

# pacman -S kde

But I dont have network card, I have USB Modem. Do I need to add my modem to modprobe.conf? Thx for help
