Question Install Debian Dist on sata hdd with sata dvdrw ?

I'm new to this linux. I successfully installed this Debian dist. on vmware and on a IDE hdd with IDE dvdrw, During a step called mounting it asked for copy driver for cd rom drive from floppy.I clicked no bc/z i dont have a floppy.It also said your cdrom drive is not scsi,not ide , not some old drive.On next step it asked for manual slection. there was almost 6+ names were shown like manufacture names like sony.Non of them where not supported. My Dvdrw(SATA) is Samsung.I'm stuck here.

If that's Sarge, then you really need to consider getting the latest Debian, which is Etch, and soon to be Lenny. Sarge is showing its age these days, especially with newer hardware. Go to
