Install as scanner HPLJ 3330

When I press Copy/Scan and Scan To I get "Not set up on PC." I remember scanning with the LJ several years ago but that was either under RH 5 or Kubuntu 6. I have searched for hplip and sane but can't find anything executable in K 11.10.

You will have to install Sane from the repos. Open Synaptic Package Manager and look there.

As for the scanner driver, HP does supply linux drivers for some scanners, not all. You can have a look on their web site, they supply hplip there, available as a .deb package. You might also check in Synaptic, for hplip package.

If you can not find things in those locations, post back.

Thanks. I have since downloaded sane but have been sick and hanen't installed yet.
