(initramfs) unable to find medium containing a live file system
 
hi..
i have a problem while installing ubuntu 10.10 in my computer,this condition while begin to install ubuntu .. the output detail is

then it result

i wondered that this is the ubuntu's CD, but when i try to another PC, it was run well.. then i replace to another DVD player, but the output still same, what must i do?

It could be a hardware compatibility issue, what happens if you try the latest ubuntu release, 11.10

10.10 is not the LTS (long term support) version, and will probably be out of support soon, although i am unsure of ubuntu's support schedule. 10.04 is the LTS 10.* version, you should probably be using that instead.

thank you, i change to another PC with Core2Duo, it's run well,, ubuntu 10.10 still doesn't support to any new hardware ...
