Lightbulb Information needed on wireless PCI NICs Linux Compatibility

This is my first try at using this forum.

I need assistance in choosing a wireless 56mbps PCI network adapter for my Mandrake 10.1 system. There are many reviews for many cards out there that claim "compatibility" but I am looking for a card that is relatively easy to install and wont require me to "move the world" in order to get it going as I dont have the time. If you recommend a card that is not automatically detected by the kernel, please advice me on the drivers and the kernel source code requiered.

Any suggestions are apreciated

I thank you in advance

Processor: AMD Athlon 64 3000
Motherboard: ASRock K8S8X
Linux Distro: Mandrake 10.1 Kernel

Please inform me if you know that the card sugested has issues with my specs above.

I would look for something with a Ralink chipset, I have a PCMCIA adapter from Hawking Technology that uses them.
