INFO: <application>blocked for more than 120 seconds
HI All,
First of all i am not sure that it's the right place for this kind of problem (still placing here because i feel its hardware related ).
Recently I installed Centos 5.2 x86_64 bit OS on dell server box Power Edge 2900.
After successful installation, I found numb of "Call Traces" in my dmesg's, related to different applications and IRQ.
as:
INFO: task java:25118 blocked for more than 120 seconds.
"echo 0 > /proc/sys/kernel/hung_task_timeout_secs" disables this message.

and the system some times goes to un-reachable state.
System generates "Call Trace" for more that one process (i.e rsync, java, IRQ0, etc)
I have no idea what this is all about, can any one help me in understanding the Root Cause of this problem.
I will appreciate if i get answered for following queries:-
-- What/Why is it ?
-- Is it hardware or application problem ?
-- I found it for IRQ 0 (as I know, which is reserved for system [i.e no user access]), does it mean that my server have some faulty hardware or can be because of wrong driver ?
--Were to dig for more ?
Some details about my box :-
Vendor: dell power Edge 2900
OS: Centos 5.2, kernel-2.6.27
Any suggestion is welcome , let me know if some more information is required in order to understand my problem.
Thanks in advance..!
