In which part of the boot process are drivers loaded?
...in Ubuntu 10.10? I'm curious as to exactly how my hardware is probed, and the appropriate drivers loaded...? Is there any way I can see what other drivers are included on the install CD other than the ones I'm using?
I'd be willing to guess this is much too complex a question to post a reply.
The process starts with hardware being able to read bios and goes from then on to the fully loaded OS. There is not a specific step that could be not mentioned.
What is the problem you have may be an easier answer.
