in synaptics.conf which option controls the movement speed ?
i have tried each option but i cound not get pointer's movement speed down .
and how can i disable touchpad while typing. Code:
$ cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-synaptics.conf |
You don't say what OS or DE you're using, but have you tried a GUI settings module? In KDE there's synaptiks, and it has settings for "Automatically switch off touchpad on keyboard activity" and cursor motion speed. But it does not create any files in /etc/X11 so I couldn't tell you the equivalents.
