imac tri-boot
 

i'm thinking of buying a new imac, 3.x ghz dual core processor, nvidia 8800 GS w/ 512mb, 4 gigs ram, 24 inch display, etc... i will use it as my main computer (you know, to get stuff done) and will install windows to do some casual gaming (gonna try crysis, dont ask, thats another story) and would like very much to install Linux on it as well, seeing as how it it my main os for years now and see no reason to change that. I know that i could install windows and dual boot, but my question is; would installing linux after the other two and installing grub work? in the past, grub has recogized other os's after install(s) but would it recognize mac os, linux, AND windows, not to mention, would it even work on the 'bios' of the imac?? if not, i could always run linux as a vm, but that takes all the fun out of it. any ideas?

after reading some posts under the hardware section of the forums, i realized that most posts are about specific hardware problems rather than just a general question about 'platforms'. should this be moved to the 'general' linux questions section of the forum?
