Identifying the type of Alpha machine

I would like to install Linux on my Alpha machine. My question is, how do I identify what kind of Alpha machine I have? I need to have a specific version so I can get the correct Milo Images. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Not sure what type of Alpha machine you have.. What is the model of your Alpha Machine..? I know I have a Dec Alpha Server build by Compaq and I use the SRM console to gain the specs from my machine..

If you have SRM then you can find by issuing the command Show_devices at the promt

Good Luck
