Unhappy IDE DVDROMS not detected in FC9

FC9 full installation works fine from a FC9 DVD but
I have 2 DVDROMs that both are not detected when I login to FC9.

1- IDE Sony 52/52/52/16 DVDROM combo
2- IDE Pioneer DVDWriter

etc/fstab :
/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 / ext3 defaults 1 1
UUID=44a4815b-63d5-406b-a5a3-1a0ea5c103ac /boot ext3 defaults 1 2
tmpfs /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
sysfs /sys sysfs defaults 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol01 swap swap defaults 0 0

etc/mtab :
/dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol00 / ext3 rw 0 0
proc /proc proc rw 0 0
sysfs /sys sysfs rw 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts rw,gid=5,mode=620 0 0
/dev/sdb1 /boot ext3 rw 0 0
tmpfs /dev/shm tmpfs rw 0 0
none /proc/sys/fs/binfmt_misc binfmt_misc rw 0 0
sunrpc /var/lib/nfs/rpc_pipefs rpc_pipefs rw 0 0
fusectl /sys/fs/fuse/connections fusectl rw 0 0
gvfs-fuse-daemon /root/.gvfs fuse.gvfs-fuse-daemon rw,nosuid,nodev 0 0
/dev/sda1 /media/WVU fuseblk rw,nosuid,nodev,allow_other,blksize=4096 0 0
/dev/sdc1 /media/Win2008Server fuseblk rw,nosuid,nodev,allow_other,blksize=4096 0 0

I am a newbie and I dont know exactly what these files are.
Please give me step by step instructions on how to solve the problem.

This is essentially a duplicate of http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...in-fc9-657993/

One question, one post Leon.

Wink its related to both forums

1- its related to both forums so i thought (maybe i was wrong) that it may help active memmbers of each forum to see the question and i get different replies from them.

2- heres a hardware related and needs different Info about the problem and as u see the lspci and uname are not mentioned in FC9 post cause they may not be interested but heres theres a thread "Before u post here" or something like this that asks for more precise Info SO No the posts are not the Same completely and they just refer to the same problem with different contents in them.

stress_junkie is correct. You need to pick one forum and post there. If a mod thinks it's in the wrong place one of us will move it. Or if you need it to be moved, you can hit the report button and request it be moved. I think this is in the most appropriate place, so I am closing the one in Fedora.
