I'm using the 2.6.9 kernel, but I have no problems with connecting a thumb drive, nor another mp3 player!
Although I can connect other USB related stuff, I've spent along time just trying to get my iAudio connected. As far as I can tell, I have all the modules loaded. In fact, I've even loaded some modules I saw mentioned in an iPod thread on this forum.
Code:
Module Size Used by
ohci_hcd 22225 0
ehci_hcd 31557 0
nls_utf8 1985 1
sd_mod 16961 0
usb_storage 61321 0
msdos 10433 0
vfat 14785 0
fat 45409 2 msdos,vfat
ohci1394 35033 0
sbp2 23753 0
scsi_mod 118417 3 sd_mod,usb_storage,sbp2
ieee1394 302869 2 ohci1394,sbp2
.......
usblp 12993 0
uhci_hcd 31449 0
My udev rules are
Code:
BUS="usb", KERNEL="sd?1", NAME="%k"
## Flash Memory 1
BUS="scsi", SYSFS_vendor="UFD*", NAME="namib%n"
## Flash Memory 2
BUS="scsi", SYSFS_vendor="STORAGE*", NAME="kalahari%n"
The last two came from "
USB Flash Memory HOWTO."
I'm sure that somebody here has used an iAudio...
