Angry intel modem

here's a link to an Intel driver web page.
They don't specify Mandrake, but there is a general Linux driver

I have the same modem, but am having some difficulty installing it

I tried using that one too. Never got it to work. I saw a couple of web sites that say it can be done sometimes, but it's hard.

I'm starting to think that Linux likes external modems the best.

I'm using a USR ISA modem on com2/IRQ3, not PNP.
