Question I need help with my USB Speakers

hi guys
I have these USB speakers which I use because then ones attached to my Laptop are realy weak so sometimes I can't hear anything ( I watch a lot of movies )
anyway ... so I got those USB speakers which are working real fine with MS-Windows XP pro
the problem is that I don't know how to switch between sound cards , coz these speakers are more like an external sound card ...
so can anybody help me with this problem ????

I'm using SuSE 10

thanx in advance
