I need help configuring my PPP connection
 

I have downloaded and installed a driver for my LT WinModem but it still doesn't show up in harddrake, I am using Mandrake 9.0. When I attempt to configure my ppp connection in gnome I use the info from my isp and set everything up including the modem as ttys2 or com 3 in windows, I just get an error message saying that the ppp0 server died unexpectedly. What do I do. I would greatly appreciate any help.
