I need ADI198x Integrated Audio driver for Mint.
Good Morning,
I am not able to record stream data using Audacity. When I use Windows version of Audacity the Stereo mixer device captures the stream data and I can record. In Mint The Audacity Device Toolbar shows no recording devices. None of the devices listed in "Edit/Preferences/Devices" capture stream audio. My audio is integrated into the motherboard. The Dell manifest for my service tag shows my audio as ADI_198x integrated audio. Also a reference to SoundMax(R) is made. Now that I know this, How can I see what driver is being used for audio? All I see is something called PulseAudio Server using gstreamer-properties. The test button for input doesn't seem to do anything.
Next, where would I most likely find the correct linux driver for the ADI_198x chip-set?
Short version:

Thank you, your help is most appreciated.
