i get the error Could not enter folder /mnt/hdb1


please help me

i had a friend help me install slack ware 10.0 on my computer and i am having problem trying to open my windows hard drives. I can access them as root but not as my login how do i fix the problem other than going back and forth into windows to listen to my music and watch my movies

Welcome to LQ.

You just need to specify the umask in fstab or when you manually mount the partition. What filesystem is on the partition you want to mount?
