I found this in the basement today...


It's a PCI Matrox m3D video accelerator card. No outputs on it, just a big "PowerVR" chip on it and a bunch of other small components. I did a search for it on google, tied in with "Linux" didn't find anything except mailing lists with the same question i have...


is it supported? would love to increase video performance on my old Matrox 220 machine

Got a reading off of /sbin/lspci? It might be one of those nifty 3d add-on cards.

yea, it definitely is. I got the CD/Mannual with it aswell.. not sure wher eit came from.


Still no luck on finding GNU/Linux support documentation tho :-\
