Did you do the research to ensure that each of your platforms support BTRFS format and at the same level? I use BTRFS a LOT, but never on media devices such as USB or SD drives.

I just had to format a couple of hdd’s for my server that were btrfs. I use gparted live for all my storage work.
You need to unlock lvm’s first then delete the partitions. Then rebuild the partition table to what ever you need. Use lvscan to find the lvm then use lvremove to remove lvm lock on the target partition, then in gparted delete the partition. Don’t forget to rebuild the partition table!
