Angry I dont understand this!

when I try To Install the Nvidia audio driver for nforce 2 cards this pops up:

No precompiled kernel interface was found to match your kernel; this means
that the installer will need to compile a new kernel interface.

Is there a way to configure the hardware ?

Im using Mandrake 10.1 (not mandriva)

please help
