I cant get 2 monitors to share 1 desktop

Hi!

Im got a problem with getting 2 monitors to use the same desktop,
and not as 2 different ones.
(I cant drag an application from one monitor to the next monitor, its only the mouse cursor showing then.. ).

I have been trying to fix it by modifying xorg.conf, but with little success.

My spec is:
ASUS A7V600, AMD Athlon +2800, 1GB, etc...
and gfx-cards:
1. GeForce 4400 Ti
2. STB Lightspeed 128 ( yes, I know its a dinosaur, but it still works)

And running Fedora Core 4 w/ kernel 2.6.14-1.1656_FC4

Is there a hope to get this to work like that?
Thanks in advance!

I think you are on the right track. The xorg.conf file has its own man page.

Read through it. I just looked at my man page this way: man -t xorg.conf | kghostview -
I find this version of man pages more suitable for printing out.

Sounds like you want to use 'Option "Xinerama" "Yes"'

There will be more to setup, such as referencing the Screen identifier in the ServerLayout section and indicating the relative position of the screens.

Here is a sample I found using google. It uses 5 screens!
