Ethernet Card

Fedora Core 1 (Yarrow) picks it up automatically, as does Mandrake 9.2, SuSE 8.2 & SuSE 9.0. I really love SuSE 9.0; consider trying it and forget Red Hat 9.

4401 Nic

Crox: Yes I agree about Mandrake. My mobo nic broadcom 4401 were picked up in Suse 8.2Pro and Mandrake 9.1. This is exactly why I gave up on RedHat 9. I haven't tried Fedora, but will as soon as I find an iso link. Thanks for the info. Dick
PS: I also have Slackware and Turbolinux, but haven't loaded yet to see if they find the ethernet on the A7V8X.

Red face Fedora

Crox: Found the .iso's and installed Fedora-Core1. Not impressed all. I think I'll stick with Suse 8.2 and Mandrake 9.1. I boot from seperate external scsi hard drives>>>98se/NT4.0/W2000/XP Pro/Suse8.2/Fedora/Mandrake9.1. I do think this is enough to "Play" with?

Thanks for the article about Fedore.
