Question HyunWon M-Any Ultrasm DAH520 MP3 Player


Cant get this mp3 player to work with linux. Here's some additional info:

dmesg just shows:

If anyone has any info, please share.

Can you provide some more details about the error messages, etc, that you get when you try to use it? The info you've posted is useful, but it would be a huge help to have some context. -- J.W.

If you look at the info again, the device isnt claimed by any driver :"Driver=(none)". There is no way of using the device, nothing to mount, nothing to work with, no errors to report.

I have found this link concerning the issue: http://www.qbik.ch/usb/devices/showdev.php?id=2181

Seems there is no support for the device, and no support comming, I have put the item on ebay. The item retails at around $180, so if you have a windows machine..... Other than the lack of linux support, its a pretty perfect mp3 player: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=5710552550
