HVR-1800 on Slackware64-Current/15.0

My HVR-1800 hauppauge dvb / analog tv card was until today useless for ntsc video capture because the audio through the rca connectors kept dropping out all the time. Installing alienBOB's daw package template and daw_base package seem to have completely cured this issue. Kudos to alienBOB. I will update here if anything changes in future testing.

After further tests, not so good after all. Sound often cuts out from capture after about 20 to 25 minutes now (used to be about 20 to 25 seconds). Much better with DAW but still not good.
