ok, i have 2.6.11-gentoo-r9
and trying desperately to install this on board sound card....
alsaconf seems ok to recognise it but not to install it as
alsamixer gives me::

i have compiled the kernel with sound card support.

i have also tried compiling the kernel with the driver (ice 1724) as module.

nothing works....


pliz someone.....

noone has this chipset???
