HTPC dumpster dive build issues

First time ever building an HTPC, so here is what I’m working with:
LSHW
LSPCI
LSUSB
Running Ubuntu Mate 18.10 64 bit, added the Studio video and audio editing packages, as well as Kodi.

Current issues are:
1.) Getting the Hauppauge HVR-1600 TV tuner to work
2.) Getting the Logitech m-rr67a wireless mouse scroll wheel to function
3.) Getting the webcam software to see the webcam instead of the TV tuner for it’s video device
4.) Getting a Playstation 3 controller to work with it wirelessly
5.) Finding the BIOS updates on HP’s site so that I can at least upgrade the ram to 4GB by adding in this functional kit of Patroit PDC22G6400LLK

1) seems to work out of the box: https://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.p...WinTV-HVR-1600

2) Logitech wireless stuff doesn't work well with Linux. You just have to dig on google.

3) What is the webcam software? Try 'cheese'.

4) The controller is probably bluetooth, so proceed that way.

5) see this: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/desktops
