HPNA modules

Well I compiled the modules with gcc3 only to find out that some parts of the modules were compiled with gcc2 so I had to compile gcc 2.95.3 (which is the recommended version for compiling a kernel) and recompile the kernel with it. And on a P120 it takes quite some time... Now when I try to load the module I get this error:

Warning: loading /lib/modules/2.4.20/kernel/drivers/net/hpna/il.o will taint the kernel: no license
See tux.org/lkml/#export-tainted for information about tainted modules
/lib/modules/2.4.20/kernel/drivers/net/hpna/il.o: init_module: No such device
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.
You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg
/lib/modules/2.4.20/kernel/drivers/net/hpna/il.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.20/kernel/drivers/net/hpna/il.o failed
/lib/modules/2.4.20/kernel/drivers/net/hpna/il.o: insmod il failed

In my logs this is what I get:

il0: ilc_chipattach: bad sys sprom crc8
il0: ilc_chipattach error
il0: ilc_attach failed

This is a part of my /proc/pci that show that the device is installed and Linux sees it:

Bus 0, device 9, function 0:
Ethernet controller: PCI device feda:a0fa (Epigram Inc) (rev 1).
IRQ 10.
Master Capable. Latency=32.
Non-prefetchable 32 bit memory at 0xe0804000 [0xe0804fff].

Anybody got this problem? What did you do to fix it?
