HP Storageworks 40 DAT Fedora compatibility?

I'm considering buying an HP StorageWorks DAT 40 USB tape drive for backup purposes (see the HP site for exact details) - can anyone offer opinions as to:
  • whether this is compatible with Fedora Core 5 (2.6.16/17 kernel)
  • whether suitable drivers are readily available
  • whether this drive is compatible with mondoarchive

The HP site lists the site as being compatible with RHEL 4 so I would hope that this would translate into some sort of compatibility with Fedora but if anyone knows for sure that would be useful to know.

Thanks in advance.

Regards
David
