HP PSC 120 on Red Hat 9

I have a HP 1210 All in One Printer. I have tried everything to install it. I read Chris Negus' Red Hat Linux 9 Bible, and tons of other Linux tutorials. The printer is found by RH9, but when I try to print something in Mozilla or a Photo for instance, nothing happens. The printer is checked in the printer configuration tool and it seems like the job is spooling but nothing comes of it.

Do you know of any place where I can read more docs pertaining to installing this printer. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

SeanMaggs

I have that file

I have that file downloaded. How do I extract it and make it work? Does it follow the tar and gunzip commands like a regular install file.

Go to the HP website. They have instructions for setting up their printers in Linux on there. My friend Kody found it very useful.

Followed HP instructions

I followed the HP instructions and I got the HP Print Server 1.5 Service installed, and I still can't print. I even logged in as root to make sure I had admin privileges on the PC. The driver was successfully installed but I can't print anything.
