HP Photosmart Printer doesn't print landscape correctly

I have an HP Photosmart C5550, and normally it works fine (besides the fact that it is constantly telling me it needs to be aligned), but recently when I have tried to print any landscape files, it has printed them in portrait, truncating the rest off, and centering it vertically. This has happened with both okular and LibreOffice. This is terribly inconvenient for me. I do not know whether the problem is with the printing software, the printer, or the driver, though I suspect it is the driver. I have tried changing the printer settings to print in portrait to no effect.

Any ideas would be appreciated, especially if they come soon.

I am using CUPS 1.5.0 with HPLIP 3.11.7, with the driver "HP Photosmart c5500 Series hpijs, 3.11.7 (color, 2-sided printing)"

Thanks in advance.

Under "Job Options > Orientation", have you tried "Automatic rotation"?
