HP OfficeJet 7110
 

I got my office jet working (printing) under FC5 After 3 days of searching cups/hplip doc's. I even got the FAX setup (At least that's what the how to guide say's I did -- I haven't tried it).

Now, my problem is the pesky Scanner!!!
SANE says that it's not there, but all the documentation I have found says that it is supported.

The printer is connected via USB.

Drivers: hpijs-2.1.4 & hplip-0.9.9
(installed from the source code)

Also, I downloaded the most recent versions of libusb and libusb-devel, I verified that SANE was up to date as well as many other packages.

I removed the older rpm packages before installing the updated source also.
