Question HP Netraid Question

I have set up Red Hat Linux 7.2 using an HP 1Si Netraid controller, which has two SCSI disks mirrored as a logical volume. Linux saw the raid device and installed on it without error. I did not have to install any type of HP raid drivers, though the document said the NetRaid card is supported under Linux.

Under the /proc/scsi, there is a scsi file which contains the following:
Attached devices:
Host: scsi0 Channel: 03 Id: 00 Lun: 00
Vendor: MegaRAID Model: LDO RAID1 4133R Rev: A
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revicsion: 02

There is also a megaraid directory in /proc/scsi which contains an empty file named "0".

From all indications, the RAID seems to be working OK and the system has run flawlessly for about two months now. I even took the system down and unplugged one of the disks, and rebooted and resynced the disk without any errors.

THE QUESTION IS, since I did not install any type of HP Netraid drivers, is there a possibilty of data corruption? Is there something that I am missing here that I am not aware of?
