HP ML150 G6 E5520 HP SAS/SATA HPM AP SERVER is not supported by Debian

HP ML150 G6 E5520 HP SAS/SATA HPM AP SERVER
Specs
Intel Xeon E5520
4GB (2x2GB 10600E Unbuffered Advanced ECC memory
Embedded HP NC107i PCI Express Gigabit Server Adapter
HP Smart Array P410 controller w/256mb cache Raid Controller
RAID(0/1/1+0/5/5+0)
HP 250GB 7.2k HP MDL SATA

According to the system builder Debian don't support the RAID
built-in to the G6. Debian can't recognize the raid and don't continue to install
Since G5 is phase out. My question... if it is possible if we install a third party RAID controller similar to the built RAID in G5 for us to install Debian OS?

Thanks

This is the same question you posted in another thread...and the other thread has a solution posted for it.

I'm not familiar with LINUX OS so I'm looking for a person having the same server specs experiencing the same problem. I've checked the G6 server delivered to us. The raid card is actually an add-in card to support higher level of RAID. Its a more complicated situation since we are not responsible for the server configuration. We don't have enough resources and time test it.
