HP Laserjet IIP + ljet2p margin issues
I have had no problems getting my HP Laserjet IIP (2P) printer running under
GNU/Linux/CUPS (using ljet2p), but it's _really_ annoyed me that the margins
are off -- on all 4 sides! So, as a result, my documents always get cut off...
It's really annoying. I've tried adjusting them with KDEprint, but they keep
getting reset again. I also tried that margin adjusting tool available on
linuxprinting.org, and I took very accurate measurements, but that only made
things worse!
Using the gimp-print driver works, but it's much slower, the quality isn't
quite as high, and it prints one page at a time (and I have to wait that slow
load time out for every single page that comes out!) I upgraded to gimp-print 4.2.6, which promised slightly faster print speeds for my particular printer, but I noticed little-to-no difference
Soooo..... I'd like to get the ljet2p driver to work correctly.
Please help!
