HP Deskjet 712C: How to align printer cartridges

Hello,
How can I align the printer cartridges for Deskjet 712C using Linux (Mepis 8x and / or Sidux 2008.04)? The printer is installed via parallel port. Thanks.

I found this for a 722C. It looks like there's a configuration file somewhere that lets you set the X and Y offset. Unfortunately, they don't specify what file they posted (it's the first configuration file under the "align color and black ink cartridges" section). But maybe you can grep some files for that.
