Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

HP Deskjet 3322 and Debian Testing - USB device not found?

I've been playing with this printer for a few weeks, trying to make it work under debian. It's a HP DeskJet 3322, which I had working under Fedora Core One (As a 3320). I've tried *everything* possible and I still can't get this puppy to work. Google doesn't seem to be turning anything up either.

If I use the KDE Kcontrol center's printer add wizard, it sees the printer in the USB port. But when I try and print, the cups log says that it failed to find the USB device. I've tried all four USB ports, so it can't be that...

Anyone know what's wrong?
