HP DeskJet 3320 USB, RH7.3, samba, network share, blank pages
Dear Gurus
I have a RH7.3 system which had been working fine with Canon LPT Printers (bubblejet). Now I am trying to use a better (!) printer, HP DeskJet 3320 USB, which is recognised and installed by my kernel 2.4.18-27.7.x, and it can be installed in my Win9x systems that talks to the server via samba. But when I try printing, it prints only blank pages. I am using lpd, and there is no way I can try CUPS. Can anybody please suggest me what I can do? Thanks. |
Yeah check to see if your ink cartridge isn't empty and i'm not being fecicious either

I am overwhelmed
by the benevolene of your response.
I know it is a forum for new and old bees alike, but don't you suppose that the question resembles a minimal level of efficiency in indicating the problem? but true, I can always check to make sure that the ink cartridges are filled up. lol. |
Oh my other suggestion is that you download the PPD file for postscript printing, off linuxprinting.org. I setup my printer using it. Cups is definetly a very good way to go.
