HP 1018 Laser Printer Driver (Freespire)

Hello,
I am running Freespire (the latest version). (again, it's an HP 1018 Laserjet)

I do not know how to get my printer working, though I
have gotten as far as Googling it, I have not gotten any farther than that.

According to the printer's page on the Linux Printing site you need to install the cups, foomatic-db and foo2zjs packages. Once done you would go to http://localhost:631 in a browser choose the manage printers to add the printer for use. When it asks for the username and password this would be root for username and your root password for the password and most likely /dev/usb/lp0 or similar for the device.
