Howto to test miniPCI wireless card?
 

After a thermal failure of my laptop my wireless card is no longer working, and I would like to isolate the problem to the card, antenna or possibly the mobo. All I have available to test with is a multimeter. This is (I believe) a MSI wireless card and I know it has the ralink rt2560 chip.

Questions:
What resistance should the antenna read?
It has 2 antennas, 1 for the 802.11g output (Main) and I think the other is for 802.11b (Aux).
I already tried swapping the antennas and that did not help.

Using the multimeter is there any way I could tell if the card actually puts out a rf signal when I try to send? What would the voltage read at the Main/Aux jacks?

Is there anything at all I can do to isolate the problem. I don't want to take a $40 card to a laptop shop and pay someone $30 to tell me if it's good or bad. I don't have another laptop to test the card in. And I don't have a spare wireless card to put in this laptop.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
