How to use the modem part of the Linksys LANmodem???

Hey everyone. After searching the 'net for a while I can't find anything and was wondering if anyone out there knows this. I use the Linksys EtherFast LANModem on my laptop. The LAN part works great, never had a problem with it. But, how do I use the modem part of it?!? I'm running Redhat 9 and it doesn't detect any modems on the system (and yes it was plugged in and PCMCIA was on when I tried to have it detect it. :))

Any help would be appreciated!!!

dual cards usually aren't supported. If you check the exact card type with:

/sbin/lspci

and then check that against what you can find at www.linmodems.org

There are quite a few that are supported, most are not... but that's the best place to start.

Cheers,
