How to unistall wireless network card driver


My system freezes any time that i open a bittorrent client...i've read that the problem is with my wireless card RTL8180...i've read too that this problem disappears once using ndswrapper...now, how can i unistall my driver and start using ndswrapper in kubuntu??thanks

Use 'rmmod <modulename>' (without quotes) to unload the module. Then inspect /etc/modules.conf. Find the line that loads that module and comment it out (put the # symbol at the beginning of the line).

If the line loads other modules as well as the wireless card's driver, then edit out the name of the driver. Or, better yet in case you might want to restore it later, just comment out the line that is there and add a new line underneath it with the wireless driver omitted.
