How to turn X Display 90 degree

Dear All,

Good days, recently I have a project which is setting a web base database for my manufacturing line. To optimize my GUI, I need to turn the LCD monitor 90 degrees (Can feed more data field).

So, is it any method to achive this mission in linux X? Or it can be done only in Windows + NVIDIA Driver?

Your feed back is highly appreciated.

simply use the
option "Rotate" "CW" or "CCW"
in your XF86Config file. It's described here
http://www.xfree86.org/current/nv.4.html
and is a standard part of the xfree86 nv driver. Note that rotated displays will be un-accelerated.

cheers
