How to setup SIM card reader on Ubuntu
Hi there,
I got an USB multi card reader that supports SIM card as well, but I can't find a s/w to make it work, I plug it into the PC with SIM but nothing happen, your help greatly appreciate  |
Hi!
There is a protocol, "dmesg" you could compare the last lines with plugged and with unplugged USB, maybe you see a difference / error message / if it is recognized: Code:
dmesg |
Yes :
scsi 7:0:0:0: Direct-Access Myson SD/MMC Storage 1.00 PQ: 0 ANSI: 0 CCS [ 171.754625] scsi 7:0:0:1: Direct-Access Myson MS/MSPRO Storage 1.00 PQ: 0 ANSI: 0 CCS It is strange that I still got this message when unplug the reader, the same detail shows on Sysinfo tool, but removed when unplug, anyway I try to look for driver for it but I couldn't find any. |
