How to reset the HL-5270DN pass no.

Hello,
I have a Brother printer model HL-5270DN that asks me for a 3 digit unlock number in order to do some settings. I do not have this number. The manual says I should contact the manufacturer. I'm afraid they would try to sell me a new one ... So does anyone know how to unlock that thing ?

The manual on the Brother website tells you this, which will perform a factory reset. From there, set your own codes.
