How To Recover Files Form JFS Partiton


Yeah I Think I Will Have To Format My HD......But I Want To Recover Files From A JFS Partition Which Is Not Mounting.....Does Anyone Know A Prog Or A Way To Recover Files From JFS Partition?

You can try using photorec (part of the testdisk suite). It has many different file formats that can be recovered. The website doesn't specifically list jfs as a supported filesystem, but it's worth a shot.

...and before you do anything best make a backup of the disk or partition just in case.
