how to install Lexmark z515 printer on SUSE 9.1

I installed SUSE 9.1 and everything is going great. one of the few problems that I have not been able to resolve is how to install my lexmark z515 printer. I looked on the SUSE site and saw that this printer is not supported by linux. I asked a friend and he told me that I can just install a driver from another printer that is similar to mine and that it should work. Is this true?

I hope I can resolve this issue so that I can be able to print.

I have exactly the same printer and I found this great bit on gentoo wiki I think it is. Anyway follow the instructions for the z600 driver and it will run.

Good Luck.
