How to install kernel source ?


I am running mandrake 9.0 and i need help installing kernel source.
Can some one tell me how step by step ?
thanks.

start a terminal, type su, press enter, enter your root pass, press
enter, type 'urpmi kernel-source', press enter. wait. done.

Also how do u check the current version of the kernel ???

you will usually see the version of your kernel during startup or text login. if not you can use the following command :
uname -r
