How to free my soundcard? (FC5)

Hi.

I'm using Skype, and one of Skype's bad habits is, to lock the sound device, but not un-lock it after use.
How can I remove the modules with rmmod, so that I can reload them afterwards?

I tried unloading modules with the -f option, but this doesn't work, it just replies:

Code:
[root@polemon bereziak]# /sbin/rmmod -f soundcore
ERROR: Removing 'soundcore': Resource temporarily unavailable
please help, I'm tired of rebooting all the time just to make my soundcard usable again.

Maybe you need to add some dmix info. It is used to channel multiple app outputs to the /dev/dsp. Do a search here for dmix to see some of the config files and where to create them.
